I wonder how does the peruvian Inca Kola taste, I see that in U.S. this product is available in some supermarkets, specially the ones that sells mexican foods, I remember when I visited Austin, TX and I went to a supermarket called Fiesta, and there was some 2 liter bottles of Inca Kola like in the pic, I was going to buy a bottle but I took it back because of the price (2 bucks). Do you guys ever tasted Inca Kola, how does it taste?

I recently bought a can of Inca Kola at a local south-of-the-border store. It tastes about like Goya or DG Cola Champagne.

I can get it at Giant Super Markets here in Frederick, Maryland. I don't like it at all.

I tried it once. It was kind of wierd, a little bit of apple & cola.
Life is too short to drink crummy sodas...

MrR, I saw it at my Mexican Fruit Market store.
I'm not so brave to try new things when I can't read the label. I could kick myself for not taking Spanish in Jr High and High School. I live in a community that speaks Spanish, I feel I miss out on things. Oh well.

I really like this. We can get it at Spanish stores around here and occasionally at Giant supermarkets. It's interesting that this is a Coca-Cola product but is not distributed by the Coca-Cola system, at least in this area. Does anyone know if CCE or another bottler distibutes this anywhere in the US?

No, but different bottlers produce it for Coke. I've seen it from CCE Elsmford NY (6pk cans) and Philadelphia Coke (fridgepacks).

I would assume that the current distribution methods are acceptable to Coke - the distributors who have it are able to get it into most Hispanic/International food stores.
