Hello all! We were on vacation on or around July 4th in the Iowa/Illinois/Indiana area and we came across Ruby Red Squirt at convenience stores in 20 ounce plastic bottles. We were hoping to bring some home to North Carolina but they were out when we stopped at the store. North Carolina doesn't sale Ruby Red Squirt. We are hoping that someone might be willing to sell us some and ship it to us or tell us where we might be able to buy some at a grocery chain there and have it shipped here. We are presently talking to a distributor and they don't act like they want to bother selling us any. We would like to get some with a long expiration date. Thanks for any help! You'd need to get it in cans to get long expiration dates.

You also have to realize that distributors can't sell out of their distribution areas. That's called transhipping, and they could lose their franchise for doing it.

Maybe here's the reason why they discontinued it, I don't know what it means but anyway...

BTW, Seeing the logo... berry, strawberry and cherry... in a grapefruit soda? YUCK!

OMG.. I need to cut back on my soda pop consumption. Well I'm not exactly chugging down 8 litrs a day. Gee that poor guy could have picked a more please soda pop like Coke or Pepsi. [img]smile.gif[/img]

ruby red squirt is everywhere in michigan. i guess i'm just used to seeing squirt everywhere, and can't believe that it's so regional.

Squirt is available nationwide in Mexico, and although is a brand from Cadbury Schweppes, in some states is distributed by Coca-Cola (Embotelladoras ARCA), in others by Pepsi (PBG Mexico City and GESSA) and in others by AGA (like here). There's only the regular and the diet versions, no crazy grapefruit-berry-cherry-strawberry mixes.

And the logo is different here...

if you drink 8 liters of anything a day you deserve what you get, as far as i am concerned!

i have not seen ruby red squirt in any of the stores in the buffalo area and i am getting really upset

does anyone know what is going on?

I can purchase Ruby Red Squirt at my local grocery store here in Minnesota.

I am drinking a ruby red squirt right now. I bought it at Fred Meyers(Kroger). It's ditributed by the RC/7-up people here in Oregon. And yes reading the thread made me go and buy one.
