I would also add to boodoo's sage advice is that a good business plan should be developed before anything else. I could not agree more with boodoo's advice. Each element that he mentioned is directly related to a well thought out business plan. Sometimes a business plan can save you from a shipwreck.

I would also remember that if you surround yourself with seasoned professionals who you trust....try to keep your mind and ears open.

I don't know you. I do not know your level of experience but I would offer this advice to anyone who was wanting addvice.
