in your opinions, which companies do any of you feel to be Redbulls main competitors within this industry??? i know it could be alot, so lets narrow it down to their top 3. any feedback or opinions are greatly appreciated. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Look to the brands distributed by the big soda companies. They have exceptional distribution strengths. You could perhaps add a strong brand that utilizes the warehouse system (McLanes/Core-Mark). Any other brands are just wanna-bees.

I believe SoBe's Adrenaline Rush, Coca-Cola's Full Thottle, and Hansen's Energy would be good runners against Red Bull.

At least here in the San Francisco Market, Hansen's doesnt even show up on the nielsons anymore...Adrenaline rush is at around 3% of the market, and Full Throttle is about 9%. Personaly, Rockstar and Monster are the top 2 guys to give RB some serious competition. Every other drink I have seen or sold just doenst add up to the massive sales that the big 3 bring in.

I would have to agree w/Ron on this one Monster is Solid #2 on the energy drink category follow by Rockstar (nationwide) for the most part these two have had the most success in the 16oz category and they also deliver tremendous $,$$$,$$$ in sales those would be my choices.
