Is it just me or has the season been stretched? It appears that we are going to be watching the World Series in NOVEMBER!

Good point, IMO it's not as long as the NHL season. I used to love hockey until it became a death sport with ultimate fighters on skates. Their playoff season drags to the point of sheer insanity. The NBA is pretty much in the same boat.
