I was wondering if the plastic beer bottles that some sporting events vend in the stands have their tops removed. I mean could a plastic beer bottle with it's cap on be thrown like a missile projectile?

Just a thought.
I know that at all Chicago sporting events, cups are used for all beer and soda pop sales.

Wow! Plastic beer bottles for sports events? It's weird! As far as I know I've only seen beer sold on plastic cups in sport events.

Last time I saw plastic beer bottles was in Vegas a couple of years ago, only in 16 oz bottles of Coors Light, Miller Lite, and Miller Genuine Draft. But I recently saw ads for Coors Light comming in plastic bottle packs. Its seems weird, if I see better beers coming out in plastic bottles I might give it a shot, even regular Bud.

i saw this commercial on TV for coors or something in a "party pack" of plastic 20oz bottles, and the people in the commercial were tossing them and stuff. so i would say yes, they would just have to have very good aim so as not to hit anybody.

they are in coors original too. it's an 18pack of 16oz bottles, or equivalent to a 24pk of 12oz bottles/cans.

sells well in the summer, around lakes/beaches

I had a 16oz plastic bottle Miller Lite at Disneys Animal Kingdom. I was very surprised to find alcohol in one of their parks. Later that Night I had a couple at Downtown Disney....Go Fiqure!
Whether you think can or think you can\'t, you\'re probably right!

I live in Germany.
Here around 20% of the beer is sold in Palstik bottles. Even at ur normal grocery store. But we also have to return all empty bottles to the store, so I guess plastic makes carrying easier... mhhh
I dont like the plastic bottles though, its just, mhhh, against the original way beer is supposed to be!
