Pepsi Max is so vile. When I spent the summer in France, I thought "Max" meant "twice the sugar". What I discovered is that it meant "no sugar". I guess it wasn't bad for "Diet".

Exactly... Pepsi Max has no sugar on it, although I don't know if it has calories, we have Pepsi Max here, but only in PBG territories...

I think Pepsi named this diet version as "Max" in order to appeal young people, in fact, when Pepsi Max came to Mexico in 1994, Pepsi used the same Mountain Dew's "do the dew" ads (including the Andre Agassi ones) but they replaced the Mt. Dew cans for Pepsi Max cans...special shots or computer fixing?, I dunno...

Pepsi Max is the biggest selling sugar free soda in the UK.

So much so that Coca Cola have changed the Fanta, Dr Pepper, and Sprite diet branged to try and compete calling them Z eg, Fanta Orange Z, Dr Pepper Z ect...

Pepsi max comes in way more flavours than Pepsi.

    Fruit Punch
    Coffee
    Lemon
    Lemon and Lime
    Lime
    Orange

are the ones i can think of off the top of my head
