I like this MDX stuff and im not a real fan of regular mountain dew. The only problem i have with it is that the bottles are too small for the 1.59-1.79 price they ask for them. Anyone hear any buzz of them maybe making the bottles bigger?

Haven't heard anything to that effect...the product isn't lighting the world on fire so let's just hope it stays out for a while longer.

The product has the same ingrediants as most energy drinks that come in an 8 oz (smaller) can and cost ($2 average) more. If MDX was in a 20 ounce bottle it would more than likely be in the $2-$2.19 range or more.
If what you did yesterday still looks big, you haven't done much today.

Just my observation from the stores in my neck of the woods. The shelf price (not on sale) of MDX is on average in the $1.00 to $1.29 range, which as Saint has said is a bargain. On sale I have seen it around $0.89 to $0.99.

IMO your local market may not be as competitive or the lower pricing program has yet to be implemented in your area.

Yeah I yet to see it priced that low anywhere around here. Although i think one grocery store did have for a time 2 for 3 dollar deal on the bottles. Still though, it's a pretty good drink and the first energy-like drink ive tried that doesn't leave a crappy aftertaste (im looking at you sobe , valut and amp for example)

I think the cheaper price of Vault and the similarity in taste will make MDX irrelevant by the year's end

lowest ive seen was 50 cents, but it was old product. otherwise its 99 cents everywhere but at walmart its 1.59 and at walgreens its 2.25 (gasp) at walgreens, a full throttle or a rockstar will cost ya 2.89 where everywhere else its like 1.50- 1.19, and Vault there is 1.59 where the other coke products are 1.29... sheesh ripoff artists

IMO....Very soon MDX will be 3 for $1 and it still will not clear out of the stores. When I was at Woodman's this morning, the MDX shelf and end cap display looked as if the only person who had touched it was the sale person.(Note, the other Pepsi brands were well shopped, the shelves were half emptied.)

The vibe I got was that of road kill. I'm not trying to be harsh but IMO the general soda pop consumers are not digging it and the energy drinkers don't consider it worth buying.
