Looks like rockstar must really be hurting, Because on the introduction of their new product "Rockstar Juice" Looks exactly like another product that was introduce about 5 months ago by none other than MONSTER called Khaos, Almost Identical ingridients and the 70%juice 100% energy...give me a brake! This can Has Monster Khaos Writen all overit, but I guess when your getting your butt kicked by Monster and Sobe No Fear desperation kick's in. Looks like one year ago Monster and Rockstar where neck to neck on AC Nielsen now Monster has pulled away to be #1 16oz energy drink in the market whith Sobe and rockstar battling out for #2, But getting back to the subject of rockstar if you check out Rockstars "new and improved" website(www.rockstar69.com) and if you happen to visit monsters website (www.monsterenergy.com) you will notice that its almost identical as Monster. Excep rockstar tries to portray that all of this Celebreties drink Rockstar but you dont see any of these people drinking the product other than possing for picture...monster got A motocross team Rockstar got motocross team, monster sponsors the VansWarpTour rockstar has to sponsor something similar...and the list keeps going on...and..on...but you dont have take my word for it check out their web-site and see how much the "originator of the 160z Category" is getting its butt handed to them by Monster and Pepsi and how desperate rockstar its becoming.

After reading this extremely biased post i can only be reminded of the concept of a free-enterprise government. Without competition one company could just put out crappy products and it'd be the only choice. I say that this little "battle" is good for the energy drink world. As for the Rockstar Juice/Monster Khaos (and Lost Five-0 for that matter) it's just like the whole Pepsi Twist/Coke with Lemon thing, and i don't think it ever hurt anyone to have a little more selection.

Rockstar is ahead of No Fear actually.

    But Monster is dominating everything.

Wow, That guy sounds ticked. Rockstar is still ahead of No Fear, but I predict that Rockstar will be passed by No Fear and Full Throttle by the end of 2006 and Monster will close the gap more on Red Bull.

Rockstar left the drp/7up distributors to get on board with whom they thought would get them more sales and distribution to become the #1 drink.. but they are I'm guessing in coke's eye a step-child that they'll take on but they will always be true to the full throttle product they created to make the most money off... So do you think rockstar made a good switch from being the proud first child to a distributor who pushed it first and foremost to becoming the step-child and possibly put on the back burner as something we'll take the sales off but when it comes down to it we've got a bigger priority?

Even if Rockstar is a #2 drink to CCE, it will still get bigger numbers than when it was a #1 with most DPSU distributors. We are constantly running out of Rockstar, especially the 4pks. Production (SeaBev) can't keep up.

Around here, the DPSU cold drink equipment is not even a blip on the radar. 1 piece to Coke or Pepsi's 20-30.

Coke can get a drink into places that the DPSU guys cold never get it into. And they can sell it as part of a total beverage portfolio. And offer more frequent deliveries, and so on.

Is Rockstar Juiced in any stores or being sold by any distributors yet? Does it come only in 24 oz, or both 24 and 16 oz?
