I am a huge Mountain Dew and Wild Cherry Pepsi both drinks were only trialed in the UK (in the early 90s) and did not take off so i have to buy online.

I was just wondering if any Americans bought UK sodas?

How about Tizer? Irn Bru? Vimto? Tango (Orange, Apple, Cherry, Lemon, tropical) Those are the major four that i don't think you guys get in the US.

I have just noticed you can pick most of these up on ebay if you guys fancy trying them.


Irn Bru is like nothing else my cousins friend came over from the US and went back with a suitcase full [img]smile.gif[/img] The flavour is unique, it comes in a bright orange colour.

Tizer is Irn Brus bigger brother this comes in a bright red colour, again the flavour is unique but its got a deeper taste than Irn Bru.

Tango is made by Pepsi if i remember correctly, if it is not Pepsi then its one of the many companies that Pepsi owns in the UK.

The orange flavour is very tastey with a very deep orange flavour its like Orangina (do you guys get that?) bit without the bits.

The lemon flavour is very bitter but not quite as bitter as lemon Fanta.

Apple along with orange is the most popular flavour of Tango. The flavour is very very sweet with more of an apple core taste rather than an apple taste.

Cherry is very standard, just like cherryade.

The tropical tastes just like a mellow version of tropical Fanta.

I have a UK bottle of Coke from 2001 (with mexican liquid because my family brought me the bottle empty)... but I keep it in a box...

Mole, one question, Lilt tastes good? How does it taste?

I find Sparkling Vimto to be the most popular UK drink in the US. I see it many places at about $4.00 a six pack. Vimto is simply delicious and I purchase it regularly. I have seen and tried Tango and I am not impressed. Lilt is also available but I only ever drink it on occassion.

Lilt is not very nice IMO,

It has a very sharp and sour taste.

If you like Vimto you should try to get hold of Tizer Purple its much nicer than Vimto.
