I’m sorry to break it to you Midwesterners but New York has better pizza, better hot dogs, better bagels and better steak houses then Chicago.

And it’s called soda not pop.

What do you call it? Soda or pop?

Soda,
Although growing up in Atlanta everything was "I wanna Coke", What kind of Coke?, an orange or regular or diet. It was just the way it was. All Soda and Pop was considered a Coke you just had to diferrentiate.
Whether you think can or think you can\'t, you\'re probably right!

Chicago Pizza is the best. No contest.

I say pop locally. I feel more comfortable saying soda pop on the baord. It's my way of including a few regional soda pop names.

History Of Pizza

Back in the 40's, Uno's East developed what's known as the Chicago Stuffed Pizza. This pizza along with thick crust pizza became world famous for it's crushed tomato sauce and generous amount of cheese. The thin Chicago style pizza is a little thicker than NY style pizza.

Gee, Pizza for dinner sounds so tempting. LOL

Pizza does sound good. I had pizza the other night. But I live in jersey now and the pizza kind of sucks. I take trips back to Brooklyn for pizza from time to time. so no pizza tonight.

NY pizza beats the crap out of Chicago pizza, I stand by that.
And it’s called soda damn it!!!!!!!!

I am not sure if I call them anything. If I go in a restaurant and they don't have iced tea, I leave. I only drink sodas or pops at home...and here they are called Dr Pepper I guess if I went into a place and wanted to know where they were located, I would say "where are your drinks?" So I guess I call them drinks

I'll stick with soda pop. It just feels right.
Lepke,as for Deep Dish pizza, when ever you are in Chicago, I'll treat you to a pizza and a soda. Deal?

If I ever make out east, how about you treat me to a nice deli cornbeef on rye with a pop.
