I know a few of you are into baseball so I thought I'd start a little friendly discussion, post your favorite team, player, when pujols hits his 348th home run, thoughts on your team's chances, etc.

Did anyone see how far Ryan Howard hit his first homerun today? 496 feet to straightaway center!!! It's a shame we couldn't have moved either Howard or Thome to 3rd...

My White Sox are playing very good ball right now. They have a lot of chemistry on and off the field. They should do well.

Not only are the White Sox hitting well, the pitching is very strong. IMO...the White Sox are very much a family. The players love and respect the manager. The manager loves and respects his players. The management both Papa Jerry and the general manager love and respect the team.
In all my years of following Chicago baseball, I have never seen this kind of team chemistry. Will the White Sox go all the way? I'm not sure. I do know that the team will be very competative and fun to watch. It's a win/win summer for the White Sox.

I think every team in the league would kill to have a starter like Santana, though...And Nathan's probably the 2nd best closer in the AL. You guys have some nice young hitters, though. If Morneau and Mauer can carry the team, which they have the talent to do, you guys could be right in the mix for the wild cardOriginally posted by pepsidew:

I'm sure he'll have something up his sleeveOriginally posted by Doug:
