Guys, I'm really nervious... today is election day to choose our President for the next six years... and the reason why I'm really nervious is cause the winner can be:

This man... Felipe Calderon (my candidate )

who proposes more job offers, more security, more progress for our country, more foreign investments and better development of the economy.

or this man... Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador

who only wants the well-being of the poverty class and not of the high-class or the middle-class, who harasses the business men and bank owners, who will stuck the foreign investment, who didn't make anything to stop the robbery and insecurity in Mexico City, and who has clear similarities with Cuban president Fidel Castro, Venezuela president Hugo Chavez and Bolivia president Evo Morales... UGH!

I really really hope that Felipe Calderon wins... for the well-being of all our country, so I invite to all the mexicans who see this topic to vote for the best choice for Mexico. Please VOTE... and THINK!

From what I hear on US news, the race is very tight.

It's true... in the last polls, they had around 30 per cent of the preferences...

Here in the US, there is a little bit over coverage. I know that there is one candidate that wants to make more social programs, build schools, and get jobs but that candidate is question because supposedly he would make Mexico go broke(I think that is the candidate you like).
The other candidate is some conservative party member that is the same party as the last Mexican President.
I say "what the hell" and I would vote for the guy who is going to better and give back to the people and the country, who cares if the country goes broke--that's the new "thing", look at us (the U.S.). In my opinion...LOL.

MMM... nope... the first one you talk about is Lopez Obrador, and the second one is Calderon (my candidate), who is from the same party as our current President Vicente Fox: National Action Party (well known as it's initials in spanish as PAN)

In fact is good that Lopez Obrador offers help to the people who need it most, but where does he is going to obtain the money to pay the schools and that social programs that he's proposing? with debt?... and other thing... does he will make come true his promises?... I don't think so... and Mexico City during his goverment in that city... became the city with less employment in the country, or maybe he gave more jobs: to the kidnappers, the robbers, the illegal mobil vendors, and the like.

Haha, well it doesn't really work that way. The the only way the US can deal with its astronomical debt is its political clout. Because the US's economy is crucial in the world economy, our "street cred" prevents us from paying it back.(at least for now)

Mexico could not be in the same position at this point in time.

Btw, incredible debt is not a good thing. We scoff at it like it's nothing, but eventually, it will be a problem.

I totally agree--For example:I know that we borrow very large amounts of money from China, because China knows that we buy a great deal from them.

Guys... I'm getting really worried right now...

Last monday... the preliminary results of the election showed Felipe Calderon as the winner of the elections... but now the Federal Electoral Institute is counting again the votes... and after counting the half of all the votes in Mexico... Lopez Obrador is winning

    I'm really scared
