Since I still live with my folks -- I dunno. I will tell you that you seldomly get it upstairs.

In my old bedroom, for some silly reason someone stuck an old magazine up inone of the ducts so no air could get thru for a very long time -- until my dad fixed it. And in my new room, it really sucks almost as bad.

My bill had been running about $200-250 last summer and late this spring. I say had, because the air broke in June. It was on a Friday, and I did not want to pay "emergency" repair rates. So I crammed a window A/C unit, that I had at the shop, in one of the bedrooms and closed off half of the house. To my surprise the meter ran, what looked to be, a good deal slower. I didn't get in any rush to fix the central A/C and waited for the first bill to come in running only the window unit. To my surprise the bill was right at 100 bucks. And the fact of it is, that side of the house is colder than I ever kept it with the central. I never turned my central A/C below 78 or so. So the way I look at it, I'll fix it when I am damn well ready to

Now, anyone wanna talk about their monthly gasoline bills?

Geez, I just paid my current electric bill and it was only 46 bucks. I only run one air conditioner that is in my bedroom window. Which runs 24/7 when it's really hot. I also have some fans I put in some other windows on timers that pull in some cool air from midnight - 7am, (usually it gets cool enough here to do that)

    Speaking of gasoline bills:

Pepsi pays me $414.68 for every 4 weeks of work for mileage. anymore it takes almost all of the money PBG pays me just to put gas in the tank. I remember several years ago when I would pocket 300 bucks of it. man I miss those days.

    Electric update:
I received my my statement today for june 28-july 29. $234.00 and some change just under 2600 kw. It wasn't as bad as what I was expecting but it is still over $100 more than what I usually get.

If what you did yesterday still looks big, you haven't done much today.

Sure but you won't be able to bring it yourself unless you drive. That is of course since you cannot bring liquid of any kind on a plane now.
