Okay, I know this doesn't relate at all, but I figured since I use my eyes to read these posts, then it's sort of relevant. Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone has ever had eye surgery. I had PRK surgery done in February and a CK enhancement this last week in my left eye. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how long it's supposed to be before the CK enhancement begins to work. Sorry again - I know this really does not relate at all, but my eyes are driving me nuts!![]()

If you are drinking Dr Pepper then figure two weeks of recovery and eight months of maintenance consumption. LOLOLOL
I would hope your doctor and his/her nurse can help you with the info you need. Don't worry, be happy. Meher Baba

Ha-Ha - very funny Mr. Zabe - if only that were true! My doctor said the vision would improve in two days but I have yet to see a change - thanks for the well wishes, though!

My brother had Laser Eye Surgery, he told me that is really painful, and at the first days, he had to wear sunglasses, and he had to protect his eyes from dust or water, but now he sees more clearer without glasses...
I still wear glasses, but right now I don't want a laser surgery... maybe in the future...

Thanks for the advice Ramon - the first surgery was really painful, but I was hoping I'd be able to see better after the CK enhancement. Oh well, I'll just be patient and hopefully it will work. Heaven forbid I couldn't read all about beverages - all that would be left to do is just drink them and, really, how fun is that if I can't share my beverage excitement with beverage enthusiasts across the globe? (just kidding - sort of! LOL!)

I really hope you see an improvement, jacksmom. It sure would be a waste after such an ordeal.
Although I wonder what sort of compensation your doctors/insurance might be able to provide if no improvement arises?

I used to wear glasses, but now I wear contacts. I have been wearing them for six months now, and it is almost natural.
I tried when I was in the eight grade, but I was a bit too young.

Thanks all - my eyes seem to be doing better now - at least I can read what I'm typing. The eye surgery I think was still worth it - for the first time I've been able to actually swim with my kids and keep an eye on them - no small feat!
