I know Mr. Zabe usually posts similar things on days such as this, so I thought it would be fitting for us all to reflect and remember what was lost, what was gained and be grateful that we're all here to enjoy our passions - may we never forgot the heroism and bravery of that fateful day five years ago in paying our respects to those whose lives were lost.

Thank you jacksmom.
Your words are very much needed on this horrible day of our country's history,9/11/01. I could not watch the various TV shows both last night and then today as the sorrow has been heavy in my heart.
We must never forget 9/11/01.
We must never forget those that suffered tradgic deaths.

I'm a proud New Yorker, lived here my whole life and plan on it, despite the fact that I live upstate and jobs are scarce. I went to NYC for the first time eariler this year, and Ground Zero is a pretty sad sight in the sense that so many people died in a short period of time.
Now, I recall 9/11 pretty well, and I will not forget. I remember the days and months following very well. I recall right as I was at school, I checked a few other message boards, and a few buddies where wondering if I was OK. I promptly told them I was fine, and I had no relatives within 500 miles of NYC.
My dad, and a whole bunch of people I know where involved with police/fire work, so I have always had tons of respect for them.
