Ok all you Gear Heads.LOL
Another racing season brings another reason to sit in our Lazy Boy recliners and drink sodas all race long. Man I love the speed, the tracks and watching the beverage advertising.
Boogedy,Boogedy....."Let go racing boys."

I was on the road last week and passes Daytona International Speedway. The drivers are already movig in and getting ready for the season opener.
I have been to Daytona twice Atlanta 4 times and Talladega once. Talledega is by far my favorite track.
I will be in Atlanta this year for the March race.Whether you think can or think you can\'t, you\'re probably right!

Yeah the short tracks are OK but I like the Speed! My brother loves the short tracks, he says it takes a bteer driver to win there because a lot of it is actually skillful driving that wins as opposed to wide open blow your doors off racing.

Call me wrong but I would think it would take more skill at wide open, 3 wide and 3-4 inches apart than at a short track. However skill is a major factor in the road course races.
If what you did yesterday still looks big, you haven't done much today.

By skillful driving I mean strategy in the pits, when to break out, when to follow the leader, etc. A lot of times in a Superspeedway it is the man out front that wins or the guy in 2nd who knows when to break from the draft right at the right time.
However, yopu do bring up a valid point about road courses. They can be very tricky.Whether you think can or think you can\'t, you\'re probably right!

IMO...the slow curvy road track races are too dull to watch.
