Default Dr Pepper "Soda Pops" frozen treats

Yesterday I found a product I haven't seen before, in a local Walgreens. It seems to be based on the old "freeze pops" technology, but with soda flavors (you buy it unfrozen, put it in the freezer, and then squeeze out the frozen goodness). The available flavors (one flavor per box) were Dr Pepper, 7-Up, Orange Crush, and A&W root beer. I tried the Dr Pepper. Pretty good! But, for some reason, they add Red 40, which dyes your tongue red!

I see those at Walgreen's too.
They have been on sale 2 for $4.
IMO....for a few more dollars I would rather
pick up a fridge pack. If I were to try them,
A&W would be my choice.

I bought a box of the Dr Pepper. They taste nothing like the soda, I was very disappointed.

My wife bought a variety pack of these at the Magic Mart in Salisbury a while back. The Dr Pepper ones tasted nothing like Dr Pepper. The orange Crush ones just tasted like ordinary orange freeze pops. The A&W pops were okay. By far the best, however, were the 7-Up pops.
