anyone know where was the red bull born?

I believe Redbull to be origionated from the Neatherlands. Back in 1997 when I went to Amsterdam for the first time I had it there. I think that it has to have other formulation locations in North America now to keep down shipping costs and lack in the supply chain. But what do I know...
