I thought I had read somewhere that some bottlers in Mexico were kind of being forced to transition to HFCS. I hope not. Stick to your guns! Don't let them get away with what they did here in the states.
On that note, I am going on my nightly ten-mile bicycle ride before bed
Talk to you guys later.

Looks like the Mexican market in the US is starting to be effected by Coke. The manager of the mexican resaurant by me said that he doesn't know when he will be able to carry Coke again. His supplier can not get any more Mexican Coke.

If there is money to be made from it(and there is) watch Coke start importing more of it themselves. I don't think the Mexican community will tolerate not having their Coca-Cola.

More imported Pepsi and Coca-Cola
I decided to go up to another Mexican market this evening and see if they had any glass product. I moved past the beer cooler on to the soft drinks. No glass. As I started to walk out I looked to see what interesting beers they might have when I spotted the glass soda I grabbed two of each thinking they were all the same. The two Pepsis were both from Mexico and the one Coke was as well. But after I got home I noticed the 354ml Coke was more of a clear bottle, as opposed to being green tinted. It's white sticker makes no mention of sucrose, only corn syrup...and it's from Nicaragua
There seems to be as much variety in imported colas as anything in this area.banned

You're so right!, for example our Coke glass bottle doesn't have the Coke square printed in the bottle, although if you come to Mexico City or Leon or any city where FEMSA bottles Coca-Cola... you'll see clear bottles like that one from Nicaragua...
BTW... Cheers!

I had to go back up to the other place a little while ago and pick up another 16oz Coke, a 12oz Sprite and a couple more Pepsis. I can't stop!

I found tons of the 8 oz. glass bottles of coke classic, diet coke, sprite, and dr pepper in 6-packs at the kroger in west bloomfield, michigan (north east corner of 14 mile and farmington roads).
They also have all the new coke products, including coke blak and tab.
I also found lots of kosher for passover coke classic at the farmer jack in farmingtons hills (north east corner of 12 mile and farmington roads)
Now if only I could find dr pepper berries & cream!
