i've got a couple problems with the discussion on this thread. for one, the pibb/pepper example is NOT a good one. pibb is NOT a focus of coca cola, thus why would they even bother 'licensing' it out...

i mistook it for a store brand item when i first saw it. most of my stores have been pretty blah about it. very generic looking.
