I am drinking a Mug right now and was wondering if anybody else thinks the bulldog is ugly and needs to go like I do? And anybody know when and why they started the bulldog?

They started the dog no more than a couple of years ago. I actually have an empty can of Mug Cream on my desk. I think he's cute...

they started the bulldog a few years back. It was about the same time as the "barqs has bite' campaign. I cannot remember the reason that was given to us about it. It was one of the genius' in NY ideas.

I still remember seeing the mug bulldog for the first time in, hmm 2002 im guessing.
I love it, and thought it was an awesome addition to the label, a bulldig holding a mug of root beer!

Agreed fusion- Mug most definatly does not have bite, or really much noticable flavor at all. At the moment I think its the worst product in Pepsi's US portfolio (since they axed Blue).
