My normal soda buying website has a few new lines

Coca Cola C2 being one of them and Sprite Remix being another.

I have taken the plunge with the sprite, after finding out it was tropical flavour, but still have no clue as to what Coca Cola C2 is can anybody fill me in?

Coca-Cola C2 is an addition to the Coca-Cola line, and it's a Coca-Cola version with half the calories, half the sugar, and half the carbs, sweetened with Aspartame and Ace-K...

It's a lower carbohydrate (1/2 the HFCS) sweetened with a mixture of aspartame and Ace K.
It tastes IMO like Coca Cola, less sweet with a bitter finish.

It was lunched with an 8pk 12oz can package sold at an average price higher than average non sale Coke fridge packs (12 cans). Most consumers either never gave it a try or did not like it. The mentality IMO was give me Coke Classic or give me Diet Coke....taste counts for the average drinker. In a year or so later Coke Zero was launched which put the nail of Coke C2's short run. Coke Zero has been accepted and is doing strong sales numbers.

I have not seen it in Indianapolis for the last two months and it is also gone from Cincinnati. I did see it from from Alsip in Fridgepacks at the Jewel on Ashland Av. (near Belmont) last week while in Chicago, but it was due to go out May 13, 2006.
