I just got back from a roadtrip to Memphis and back.. to see Graceland. If you haven't been, I recommend it. It was very interesting. Found a few sodas along the way, nothing special.

Pepsi is the official soft drink of Graceland, so you see Pepsi everywhere. Here's cool truck they had on display:

An old billboard in the Elvis car museum..

    Sign at a diner..

I hit all the local stores and got these Cool Ace cans.. and Roo juice..

    A variety of glass throwaways...

A couple 1 liters I didn't have.. pibb zero.. and big red float that I've read about but never seen..

I picked up Enviga in cardboard packs.. I haven't seen these before.. only singles..

Then, I discovered these cool little mini-suitcases of 8 oz cans.. is this test market?.. or normal packaging in some

    parts?

Anybody ever had any Fitz's? They are glass...

Slice is alive and well in Memphis..

A cool display in a grocery..

Next to it was an Enviga cooler.. they are really pushing this drink up there..

I was in a gift shop and got these items..

A Pepsi warehouse along the way..

A sign that the store owner wouldn't give up...

How is the Fitz's? If you look at their web site, it is a pretty interesting read. Their bottling line is visible from every seat in the restaurant and it was found in a barn in Shawano, WI.

    wonkapete,
Outstanding pix. Did you get a new camera? The pix are very sharp. The Pepsi truck rocks!!!!

LOL Hugh Hefner of Playboy fame, always has a throwaway bottle of Diet Pepsi at his side. The man is for sure a soda pop lover.

The 8 packs of 8 ounce cans are currently Wal-Mart exclusive for the next few months.

    Ours come taped in threes.

I noticed that the Delaware Punch is in the new (thinner) 20oz bottle Coke is using for non-carbonated stuff.

The only "odd" things I saw in the Memphis area were that CCE was really pushing CF Dr Pepper, and LaCroix glass bottled flavored water at a Kroger. But that was what I saw on my late 2005 trip.

If you had went up to Dyersburg, you would have also found a bunch of deli bottles - Pepsi up there makes a wide variety of them.
