I am looking for Schweppes Bitter Orange Tonic. Schweppes told me that it is not bottled by any of their bottlers in the U.S. My dad found it a couple of years ago in Italy and really liked it. I am wondering if there is an importer that brings it to the U.S. You help is appreciated.

    Thanks

I can't say I've ever had much luck with Italian drinks. The most I've seen is San Pellegrino or some similar drinks. Italian importers seem to do mosty pasta, sauce, oil, and canned tomatoes and such.

I found this on www.fixekiste.de - perhaps it is sold in Germany? Maybe germandeli.com can get some for you.

The Italians are fond of bitter drinks. I've had about half dozen different ones, and I personally like them all.

But aside from regular tonic water, I don't think the American public is ready for these things, which is why none are marketed here and it's even hard to find them imported. If you're in NYC, maybe. Otherwise, I don't think so.

I know they make it in Zimbabwe of all places!!
Keep in mind that the King Of Pop\'s crown is not made from a bunch of melted aluminum cans!
