Made a trip to Atlanta this weekend. About 60 miles south of Atlanta I stopped at an Ingles supermarket. Found 2 twelve packs of dnL sitting on the shelves. They looked like they had been beaten within an inch of their lives. They were on sale for $2.98. Pretty good deal. I got one of them because I had never tried it.

Good question. I tried to find it but I can't see it anywhere.

There should be a production code on the bottom of the can, which tells you when they were made.

On the bottom of a dnL can I have, the second line of code says 3217B. The first number indicates the year, which would be 2003. The next three numbers indicate the day (217 of 365), which would probably be sometime in July. The letter somehow indicates where they were manufactured.

Btw, dnL is a regional brand now. You'd probably be able to find it all the time in Atlanta. It's also in my home region of Hampton Roads, VA. It's probably exclusively a southern brand.

Thanks nwoAssassin. The number on the bottom of my cans are 5068NC.

I'm guessing that's day 68 of 2005; early 2005. Still almost two years old. NICE.

DJ, I made a few runs in Atlanta and didn't see dnL anywhere except that store. That's interesting dnL is still around in some places, though.

    Thanks, guys.

I was pretty sure dnL had its plug pulled everywhere...
