I was in a mom & pop grocery over the weekend and in the soda aisle was a 1 gallon root beer keg! It is a tin keg. It was like $21 so I didn't get it. May drive back this coming weekend and get it. Anyone seen one? I can't remember the name right off hand. It wasn't a familar name.

I haven't tried it either... Just found that under a search engine. Looks like it would be good for a 4th of July party or family gathering type deal instead of serving alcohol!

I saw those at a Cost Plus World Market store a couple days ago. They were only $14.95 there. I might have bought one, if they had root beer, but they only had cream soda. My sister said that she saw smaller size kegs at a Whole Foods store, but didn't buy one, thinking that they would still be there when I came into town for a visit. But they were sold out when I went over there early this week.
