Ok this is messed up.

By the way, I am a complete soda addict. I used to be underweight, but when I was 14 I became addicted to an online game, a massive multiplayer online text based MUD. However, I got banned almost 2 years ago. Still havent lost the weight. Now I'm 5'8'' and 220 lbs.

Its from allt he soda I drink, and no exercise

So, when I went to Biglots to go christmas shopping, I always find the sodas you never find at other stores. (I wonder why..?)

This new one, Ritz, grapefruit. I looked on their site and it said "We only send these out ti Illonois and Miamia"

Huh? I bought this in arizona!

So I drink it, it does tatse good, very tart. Not used to real grapefruit drinks, usually they tatse artifical.

But it has a 'dirty water' taste. The water just doesnt taste right. Should I be concerned?

Is this soda worth the $0.33 cents I paid? (20 oz)

Have you been able to read the "use by date" or production date located on the cap or below cap on the bottle and or sometimes on the label or even on the bottom of the bottle. ( Sorry for the run on sentence?LOL)

From time to time I buy soda pop at BigLots. My guess is that is just the way that soda pop tastes.LOL If you feel so moved, call the soda pop company and tell them the production code and they can tell you how fresh the soda pop is.

Grapefruit soda like 50/50,Squirt and various store brands can taste wacky depending if you are eating certain foods. I try to taste new soda pops with a very clean pallet.

    Good Luck

Yeah Big Lots has some pretty obscure stuff. And apparently, they even have out-of-region stuff.

But I've gotten many sodas from Big Lots that I was excited about on the way home, only to find that they were flat in the bottles.

I know the dirty water taste you're talking about. Check the expiration date, because it could be a result of a slightly deteriorated sweetener. But even so, I don't think it's dangerous.

Odd, I don't see an expiration date anywhere. *shocked*

My gut tells me that if you have even a small doubt, it's better to dump it rather then puke it latter. With no codes and a copy right of 2002, it probably is not worth the risk.

Why doesn't it have codes? Does the copyright mean it was made in '02?

Just my guess, from to time the machine that prints the codes on the cans either breaks down or is not set for that particular run.
