Hey-- I've got a couple questions about LiveWire.

    1. BevNet's review stated that it tasted like a normal orange soda. I thought I remembered it being like regular MD with orange added in, kinda like with Code Red and the cherry flavor. Which one is it?

    2. Is LiveWire here to stay year-round now?

I don't get it either. I can easily taste the Dew in Livewire yet most everyone here says it it is just an orange soda.

i taste a hint of the mt dew flavor profile in it, but it mostly just tastes like an orange soda, but a very tasty one... i think what sets it apart that little bit really is just that little bit of dew flavoring..

    best orange soda IMO

and it was never gone in chicagoland; was always available.

Well, Mountain Dew has always had concentrated orange juice in it. For Livewire, they just had to add a lot of artificial orange flavor to make it taste more like an orange soda. It seems like they tried a little too hard to make it orange. The color is what throws most people off. It's very bright orange like a regular orange soda, instead of being green like MD, with orange color mixed in. Of course, that might not have looked all that great.

I also taste the Dew in it. Some people call it caffeinated Slice, but I don't see it myself either.

You guys forgot the yellow 5, which is an oil-tar derivative, pretty much industrial waste, that has the property of giving dew the colour it has...

I always thought that Livewire had a bit of a Tang taste to it, myself. And while Slice is it's closest flavor-rival, in my experience, it is different.
