Ignoring all the marketing hype about how various drinks make you feel good or better or,well you get the idea !
Let us look at basic brain chemistry and I invite you not to take my word for it but to look up these facts for yourself.
In order to "feel good" your brain requires a neurotransmitter called "Serotonin", the lower your Serotonin levels the worse you feel.
Not one drink I have seen can increase Serotonin levels. Beverage manufacturers have instead taken the cheapest option, to amp you up on "Taurine" and "Caffiene", neither of which have any direct effect on Serotonin, and then let the marketing departments tell you that you feel good.
I have perhaps over simplified here and there are many other positive aspects to Serotonin. It is just do not expect Energy/Health drinks to provide something they are chemically not designed to do.
