The first time I saw the Mean Joe Green commercial it brought real tears to my eyes.

What surprised me is the story behind this ad... Joe had to drink 30 Cokes... 18 during the final shooting day... I wonder if he get tired of drinking Coke...

This commercial was significant not only for Coca-Cola, it was significant for McCann Erickson also (the advertising agency for Coke), cause they were in danger of lost the Coca-Cola world account, and thanks to this commercial, they kept the account for more years...

This commercial is very famous... it was released in different countries, but instead of Joe Greene, the commercial was featured by sport stars of that time in their respective countries, for example, Diego Armando Maradona in Argentina and Zico in Brazil.
