I read that in some places theres a red creme barq's soda.
However, trying some Wis-pak Mug Cream soda the other day reminded me that several years ago (around the time Mug Cream was still availible in the Twin Cities from PBG) Barq's made a cream soda that was golden vanilla, not red. It was atrocious as I recall.

Is it still being made anywhere?

Both are still being made. Red Creme is a lot easier to find, at least for me. I've seen it in western PA, most of OH, and various parts of AR/MS.

French Vanilla is a bit harder to find, though. I can't recall having seen it lately, to be honest. I think Philadelphia Coke dropped it.. and I'm not sure if CCE-NY still produces it or not.

I've never seen it in my area, and I'm 99% sure that CCE covers my area.

I love a good creme soda, so I'd love to try it some day.

I was referring to the NYC metro/northern NJ area (that was formerly CCE-NY under the old structure).

The rest of the state actually had a different product lineup at that time, including Canada Dry in some areas, as well as Mello Yello.

Creme/Diet Creme were sold in 2L and 6pk cans at the time - but this was almost 10 years ago. I don't think that areas outside of metro NYC carried them at all.

Both the Red Creme and French Vanilla Creme can be found in south Mississippi. I've got some pics of both cans in some of my other posts.

We still have Canada Dry by Coke, and Mello Yello went away eariler this year. It did go away when Surge came around, and came back when Coke relaunced it every where a few years back. But it is now gone.

Whotony.. I live here on the Gulf Coast so it's plentiful here. Speaking of Creme soda, I was just digging through some bottles last night and came across this one. A hard to find one..
