Although this isn't new for us, A Coca-Cola s****sman confirmed that Minute Maid Sodas will disappear from U.S. stores because of the sales declining of this product and also because of the success of the re-launching of Fanta.

    LMAO

Funny yet so true. I tried grape and orange Fanta and IMO they were just so so.

Fanta is a rotten product. I'm ready for the 2007 relaunch of MM, which will happen once Pepsi brings out their Tropicana w/juice.

I bet you anything when Fanta gets trashed in a few years, its going to come back under the name Fruitopia. They're just going to dig up Fruitopia's grave and make it into soda.

A shame. Fanta orange and MM Valencia orange are polar opposites in terms of quality.

I think the bottom line is that the fruit soda category as a whole has taken a nosedive. I mean think about it - Coke has been struggling with both of its fruit soda lines, and Pepsi is now replacing Slice. Both companies are obviously desperate to find a way to achieve success with their fruit soda lines, and I don't think it's going to happen. So I'd say the best bet is to just keep the fruit sodas alive as a niche product.

That's right, here in Mexico, Coca-Cola recently launched two new Fanta flavors only in Pachuca, Hidalgo: Fanta Tamarindo and Fanta Pineapple, in order to compete with Jarritos.

Here's a picture, check at the upper left of the picture.

where did you hear this and what will be replacing it?

As far as Minute Maid and Fanta I think that
Minute Maid was the more prestigious fruit soda out of the two brands.

I like Fanta Strawberry, Wild Cherry, Ginger Ale, & Pineapple. Their Orange used to be much better, but suffered from reformulation.

Grape is a problem in general for soda makers.

Their Red Cream was also great, but it's gone now.
