Dr Pepper West Jefferson is producing a 100th anniversary bottle for RC Cola - a retro version of the old yellow & red RC bottle. I'm just now seeing it in WJ.

I had mentioned in another thread that Tri-Cities was bottling a retro version of Dr. Enuf. This was the first crown top bottle I've seen from TC in a long time. (original is on left, new on right)

Last year DPWJ did a retro version of the Sundrop "Golden Girl" bottle with the coffee cup logo (original on left, new on right). The new one is still being bottled.

Cool bottles. Too bad the only way we have RC by me is in cans and plastic bottles.

I didn't know that they made Sun-Drop cola. Is it any good?

It's not really a cola - they used the word "cola" instead of "soda". It's regular citrus Sundrop. Some people say "Coke" when they mean any kind of soda, so maybe cola had the same meaning.

In Mexico there's RC Cola too, but only in few cities and with no success.

Next to Red Rock I still think RC is about the best cola in the US.

I think all the glass bottles should have that retro look. That's part of the reason people buy them in glass bottles. Isn't it?

I would commit a small felony for an ice cold Red Rock!

If they could put the hillbilly back on their Mountain Dew bottles, people would go nuts for it.

Or the 10-2-4 logo on Dr Pepper.

DPWJ doesn't bottle Red Rock so often, but there are some c-stores around here that always have it in their coolers. The ginger ale is easier to find than the cola ... especially if shelf space is an issue, Red Rock gets the ginger ale slot and RC gets the cola.

Red Rock Ginger ale rocks too. It reminds of how vernor's "used" to taste b-4 they started tinkering with it to make it more marketable.
