"Blue Surge (Upcoming 2007) -- Sour blue raspberry flavored Mountain Dew. Will be available in 20 oz bottles, exclusively at 7-Eleven stores in early 2007."

hadn't seen a post about this. anyone know anything else about this new flavor supposedly coming out? i hope it's not as sour as pitch black 2! raspberry would be a good flavor though, hope they don't mess it up!

My fingers are cross for this new flavor yet my hopes are low. Why are the Big Three obsessed with making raspberry work as a flavor extension?

Does Pepsi can use the "Surge" word after Coca-Cola used it before as a trademark? Doesn't this will create confusion?

IMO Raspberry flavored sodas have not done very well - somehow this flavor just doesn't translate well into sodas. I'll give it a chance, though, since Mtn. Dew is my favorite big name soda pop brand.

That sounds cool but why do they do all this exclusive stuff. I never go to 7-11 or taco bell hardly.

I really do not see that as the name. I could be wrong though

So dissapointing that this is a 7-11 only product, as there isn't a 7-11 within at least 200 miles of where I live - the closest that I'm aware of is in St. Louis.

    Living in Iowa blows.
