as far as i know... the only difference is that one has caffeine and one doesn't, but...

i think the caffeine free stuff tastes a lot better than regular diet coke. it's just smoother and has less after taste.

has anyone else noticed the same thing?

I've actually noticed that myself. I guess the caffeine gives it more of a "bite".

I agree. And, to me, Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi also tastes mucho better than Diet Pepsi!

Count me in. LOL
When I visit my parents, they only drink caffeine free diet Pepsi out of the 24oz bottles.

It is funny because a nice glass of CFDP with ice tastes just a touch better than regular diet Pepsi from a bottle or can. LOL

The life of a Soda POP Head. LOL

they probably will... eventually, if it sells well. there'll probably be a caffeine free version of diet coke w/ splenda too (there's already talk about it).

after all, CF diet coke is already in the Top Ten Best-Selling sodas.

so, diet coke w/ splenda (DCwS) must be doing pretty well already, if they're planning on extending the brand. so far, as i've said in other posts, almost everyone who's tried it likes it better than "old" diet coke. but most of these drinkers are young (20s & 30s).

I know that pure caffeine has a bitter taste. Maybe that's it.
