I'm seeing new Coke cans that are the size and shape of Red Bull containers.

Is this a national thing or just regional?

I think it is going national, there was a post about it a while ago...might be able to find it if I looked

EDIT: Here http://www.bevnet.com/bevboard/cgi-b...c;f=1;t=001700 the eBay auctions are long gone, but that pretty much talks about them.

I'd say from the looks of this drinks like KMX aren't selling well for Coke, so instead of removing those 8.4 oz. trays, they're gonna start putting Coke cans in them.

I wonder if longnecks would fit in those? I wouldn't mind being able to walk out of the market w/Coke in glass LOL.

What I would like to know is why these smaller coke cans cost twice as much as the regular sized coke cans?

Are they putting plain old Coke in them or are they making it some type of high octane special stuff?

Nostalgia- perhaps you ought to direct your comment to the RedBull guys since they stared this whole 8.3oz mess.

I think it's the same exact formula; Just it costs more due to the novel can!!

There here in the San Francisco bay area in supermarkets. I wonder if they will do better than the 8 0z. "toy" cans of the late 70's?
