Yup, thats right I do not like sodas with pure cane sugar, at least grape flavored.
I tried all the grape sodas I brougt back from my road trip and the two with cane sugar, Root 66 and Boylans, did nothing for me. I prefered the Welches, Nehi, and Grapette.
The Dr Pepper with cane sugar from Dublin that I bought last year did not taste any different than common Dr Pepper.
Sorry, throw off the board for this sin if you must.

Are you sure it was the cane sugar? A lot of Root 66 flavors are a little unusual. They also tend to have a lot of variety within their flavors.

Their vanilla creme is one of my all-time flavors. I don't remeber Boylans' grape, but all of their other flavors seem great. What is it about the cane sugar you don't like?

Anybody know about Boylan's Cola availability? My local distributor had never even heard of it.

BRAVO Dr. Pepperman, I always said that if its not sweetened with pure High Fructose Corn Syrup, it can't be as good!

If it was Nehi Long Neck Grape than it was more than likely that it was cane sugar.
