This past weekend, I traveled to Biloxi for a Vette show. I picked up some sodas we don't get in AL. See if you guys have these:
Glass longnecks, in both regular Barq's and the Floatz. The Floatz were really difficult to find.

Big Red in a glass longneck. Only found these in one gas station on the beach. Also, the Punch light, I haven't seen. Big Peach, we don't get. Not nearly as good as Nehi though.

I think Light Hawaiian Punch is a new product. I noticed that Wal Mart just got in the huge jugs of it.

I've never seen diet coke or dr pepper in the six pack (non deli) glass bottles.

And I haven't seen a six pack of the small glass bottles (other than Canada Dry ginger ale) since I was a little kid. Like, real little kid.

I've not seen DP or Sprite in 12 oz.+ 6 packs in decades, either.

If Barq's Floatz is as good as they say, then why is it so hard to find? Man, Coke is really lagging in their ads for non-Coke items, except Sprite.

I also talked to someone who grew up around Lake Charles, LA. She never saw Barq's until it went national 10 years ago. -Mike
Life is too short to drink crummy sodas...
