My buddy brought me back this 1.5 liter Sprite in the countoured, textured bottle. It's very nice. We don't have 1.5 liters here. Basketball guys is on the back.

Where did your buddy pick this up at? I have not seen a 1.5 liter bottle here in the states (or my neck of the woods)

We have liter bottles like that (but they're green) in the seven elevens out here. We have liters of the regular coke prodcts (coke, diet coke, sprite) I bought a liter diet coke to drink on the way home today. (yeah, a liter, I know)

1.5 liter bottles are currently more prominent in the NYC area than 2 liter bottles. You can still find the "core" brands (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite) in 2 liter, but with other flavors, 1.5 liter is the biggest size available.

NYers were very angry when Coke pulled that 1.5 liter scheme, What they did was replaced the 2 liters with the 1.5 liters. did not know they were still doing that.

The complaint was usually that there was less soda in the bottle and the price was the same or higher then 2 liter bottles.

Which is the same stunt as 20 ounce bottles costing more than 2-liters...which they almost always do. Here, quart bottles cost less than 20 ounces.

    Ah, the price of convenience.

    Sigh.

Speak about confusing the masses and pissing off the store owners. LOL Is this the sign of things to come, designer sized pop bottles. LMAO
