Mello Yello in NJ/CT?

Hello all,

I'm on a search for Mello Yello for my girlfriend. She had found it in Massachusetts a few years back, but hasn't since. I live in New Jersey (and Connecticut temporarily, as well) and am looking for as much of the beverage I can mind.

Unfortunately, I (and many others, as I have read here and on other sites) have had little luck.

Does anyone have any leads?

Coke Southeastern New England, based in New London CT carries Mello Yello. It was spotted in the Stop & Shop in Middletown, RI.

They buy their cans from Mid-Atlantic Canners in Hamburg PA (a canning cooperative). They're a small independent bottler that controls the southern half of Rhode Island,and most of eastern CT.

yeah they carry some of the stuff we don't have in the rest of the state. Such as...Mello Yello, diet cherry Coke in cans, Barq's French Vanilla Creme Soda, etc...

Wow, thanks for the information. As it turns out, I can obtain the drink about an hour away from me. I think I'll wait till there's a great sale and buy their stock. [img]smile.gif[/img]

For all those places, what citrus soda does Coke have in that area? Do the have Cactus Cooler, or something else?

I'd say all they'd have would be Fresca. They probably had Surge and Citra back in the day.

I know of only 3 Coke guys who have Cactus Cooler, OZ (in Missouri), CCE-Los Angeles, and CCE of Texas (amarillo has it for sure)

In Oklahoma (Great Plains Coke), they have Sun Drop.

coke has fresca (20oz, 12pk cans) and squirt. mellow yellow (green only) as well.

outside of detroit, coke loses squirt to dpsu.
