I am looking for some help in finding the closest place to buy Mr. Pibb in proximity to the Western PA area. Preferably in can or bottle form.

If you are talking about Pibb Xtra that is fine. I will take what I can get.

The closest to Western PA isn't going to be easy. I don't know if you live in Western PA or not, but around Pittsburgh, CCE does Dr Pepper. It is nonexistent in Western PA. Greene County down in the southwestern corner of the state should have it, as product is from Consolidated's Morgantown sales center. There should be a large amount of it too.

The next closest areas would be Steubenville, OH from CCE (was there once, not there last time I was there in November '04), or possibly Erie. I do know ABARTA doesn't bother in Cleveland w/it.

In areas outside of immediate Pittsburgh where CCE is the product bottler, Eastern Great Lakes just deals w/a shotty lineup w/o Pibb or Pepper, in some spots carries Canada Dry, and otherwise gets manhandled by PBG, and ABC even (It's arguable in some places, like Indiana County, if CCE is running 3rd to PBG and ABC).

The problem is there's really no legitimate supermarket in Greene County. Waynesburg is the county seat, a small college town with only a Mor for Less (which is a different version of a Save-a-Lot type of store). I don't know if there's any independents there or not, but you'd end up in either a c-store or something else.

I'd say just ride down to Morgantown. I know Kroger, Giant Eagle, Shop n Save, Food Lion and Super Kmart all have Pibb Xtra in stock, 2L, Fridge Pack, or 20 oz.

I actually did find a Giant Eagle in Waynesburg. I called them but they said they didn't carry it. I will continue to pursue the Morgantown suggestion.

Always thought there should have been a Giant Eagle there. Shows how much I know.

I have successfully driven down to Morgantown, and I have found Pibb. Thanks for what you have told me, and I appreciate it.
