I haven't had any of this since I was 10, in 1997. Anyone know where in the USA it is being sold?

I live in New York, and I still say it is the best Root Beer out there. Barq's is too bitter to me, I guess it is the whole "bite" they advertise.

I used drink Hires Root Beer growing up as a kid.
I remember it was excellent. I remember Dog & Suds being very good too.

    IMO...Barq's Root Beer sucks.

Question for those of you who can find it... does the Hires say Sugar and/or HFCS ? (note the order). The ones I have from Jungle Jim's (Cincinnati, OH) are listed as such. I would think it is probably HFCS, but maybe not?

I see it from time to time around here.

There's a Hires Drive-In in Salt Lake City where I had a really good Vanilla Root Beer at about 10 years ago.

I see where you can order Hires on -line, like the place in Scottsdale, Arizona.
