Has anyone heard of either of these two beers? Michelob VVV was launched but is being pulled back temporarily. I hear it has 5.5%abv.
And Bistro 8 is supposed to be test marketed in Sarasota FLA.
I'm looking for more info on them or someone who knows where i can find them....
went searching now and apparently Michelob VVV is a 5 gram of carbohydrate beer with 5.5% alcohol, not sure how it will be marketed, but I guess the 5.5/5 is the VVV...
bistro 8, it sounds like a flavored beer or malt beverage?? not sure.
I found out more about the Bistro 8. It's being tested in Sarasota FL. It's not quite a beer, not quite wine, but it has the flavors of apple, mango, apricot, cactus, lime, grapefruit, oak and spices. http://www.progressivegrocer.com/pro..._id=1000844760
Anyone in FLA able to try this yet?
I have tried it, I live in Tampa and I got to taste it tonight, the 24 oz. bottle. It is has a kind of light fruit taste right away, not strong like a smirnoff or anything, it not bold then the fruit fades slowly away to a nice dry taste that has virtually no aftertaste. In my opinion I give it 2 thumbs up.
