captain morgan tattoo: new spiced rum

was bored and wandering the local grocery store, and ran across "captain morgan tattoo", a new captain morgan rum..

its dark colored, basically black, and in an interesting black bottle..

it appears to be a captain morgan meant for doing shots of... as the attached little piece of paper showed it in a shot glass..

havent tried it yet, but the bottle says its got a special flavor and more spices than regular captain morgan rum.. it smells somewhat fruity..

in their Press release they said they formulated it to be "sweet to heat", and I'd agree with that..

starts off real sweet and then turns somewhoat hot/spicy..

the flavoring is more apparent than the alcohol, so i think anyone can do this... i see it doign well in bars as a shot ("4 tattoos!")... i dont know what it would mix well with as the flavor of the shot is quite weird and really does seem to change on you... maybe it would still go well with cola though..

I guess it's a good marketing gimmick, but it doesn't sound like something I would buy at the liquor store ever. Possibly at a bar.
