why are energy drinks so expensive? There small because you shouldn't have tons of it, but why the $1.79 for 8.4 ounces of kicked up mountain dew? Can anyone actually afored to drink these regularly? also, they don't come in bulk, so theres no chance of getting them cheaper like 12 packs of coke. I'm not complaning, just wondering. (sorry if it sounds like I am complaining.)

Since most people go and get their starbucks daily, I am sure they can spend their $2 per can. My product is not even an energy drink and sells for a lower price as well. Its a funcional drink with build in profits. It may only cost $8 to make and ship over from Austria. But then with the money to fund advertising and profits, they can only sell it for $28-$32.

Lots of energy drinks can be bought in bulk. Most stores now carry 4 packs of Bull, and the club stores Sam's/BJ's/Costco also carry bulk energy drinks.
