Default The "extreme" Category Is Here, will It Be Able To Stay Is The Question ?

It seems like the ED market is getting saturated with all products with consumption of caffeine less than 250 total mg in there entire bottle or can etc..! SO HERE COMES THE VERY LETHAL " EXTREME " ED CATEGORY !! All products with more than 275mg-600mg !!

    WHEN IS ENOUGH....ENOUGH !!

IS THERE GOING TO BE A DIVISION OF A HOSPITAL THAT TREATS CAFFEINE ADDICTS THAT OVERDOSE ON ED'S !!!

    WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ?

LOL, yes and the insurance companies will pay for it...

IMO, It may be getting over board on the caffeine. 200mg /240mg is way more then enough also at that level it should serve in a 16oz package totaling for the whole can. Americans are fat and want more and more, 8oz just don't do it for a drink and people just don't drink them for the energy. A lot of people are replacing the CSD with EDs, drinking the same amount almost as they do their soda pop. Remember Cola was a different taste when it first came out, we all were just born into it and so it was normal. Think of the future generations and what will be normal to them?

Default Extreme !! take a look at the chart from energy fiend !!

    CJ,
I don't know about you, but regardless if it is in 8.3 or 24 oz it is still a mega amount of caffeine !! HOW DO YOU TELL A CONSUMER **ONLY CONSUME HALF OF THE CAN OR BOTTLE ** they acquired the taste for it, there not going to put it down !! thats like taking a juicy bone out of a pitbulls mouth !! It just isn't going to happen !!

Rockstar Zero Carb has 360mg of Caffeine! Why isn't anyone reporting on that? There are thousands of kids drinking that drink every day.
Redline and Spike are taking the "hit" for the whole lot!
If any of you guys on this board work for Coke, Please explain your argument for distributing a product that has over 350mg of Caffeine. (4 cups of coffee, or 4 8.5oz Redbulls!)

Default Found This Off A Very Popular Energy Drink Review Website !!

Well, I drink like 6 Energy Drinks a day. It starts off my day and ends its. But, this one day, I drank like 11. I couldn't remember what I did, and my friend Tia was with me. She said that I had to go to the hospital, and the docters had to pump my stomach. This was the scariest moment in my life, and even though I was being dumb, I am still addicted to energy drinks. If I had the chance to quit I would have put my life on it. But, now my life depends on them. I have spend more then 300$ a month on them. I wanted to tell people how bad they are and how they can run your life.

I think that is 24oz size. I've had Zero Carb a few times, and I don't feel that bad. The first time I had it, it was too sweet, and I think that was the splenda. I find it funny that Coke has no problem distributing some other companys e-drink that's more powerful that what they can come up with.

I wish we had 24oz Zero Carb here. I can tell you that a 20oz Mountain Dew gives me more of a boost than one of those 9oz iced starbucks drinks they sell at the C-store. I just tried one for kicks, and I found a $1.25 Mountain Dew did the job better.

RS Zero Carb 16 oz has 260mg of caffeine and as far as I know right now they do not have it in 24oz. unless someone has seen one??? Remember they have caffeine but not a whole lot of anything else.

What I was trying to explain is that Americans drink way more then 8oz of any liquid. Hell, I bet no one reading this don't own a 8oz glass at home. It's when you cram so much in a small amount. see, granted that construction worker was thirsty he wanted more then 8oz of liquid. I can suck down a 44oz with a spicy lunch, how about you?

    Default good point C.J. !!

you are propably right when you reiterated that the average American consumer drinks an e drink in place of a coca-cola or pepsi a regular soda to actually quench there thirst!! I am hoping they do not do the same with the you know what " extreme " e drinks !!

That's what I'm talking about. Not only as manufacturer's but as fellow Americans we need to look at the BIG picture and see beyond sales dollars and cents. This is big stuff not some kids ice cream soda. We have the right to manufacture but please control your self and pack that power in a beverage more comp to the amount people are use to drinking. Now of course it might cost a little more to do the 16oz but you will not have people drinking two back to back....AND YOU CAN MAKE BIGGER WARRING LABELS

Even RL is 1/2 bottle = 1 serving Just spread it out and he will not want two with his spicy lunch...
