    Default Dnl

Why do you think DNL was a failure? It didn't even last a year
    here in Ohio.

    IMO
    It tasted like crap.
The packaging and over all concept was crap.
The mass public usally does not pay good money for crap.

For my taste buds, it was too bitter sour tasting. As well
the translucent green yellow color (soda pop) IMO looked too similar to human
    pee.

It was GREEN--now I think urine looks more like Mountain Dew--yEllow

i LIKED dnl, i wish they would have marked it as 7-up lime citrus pep, then we would have realized it had caffeine, tasted more like lime, and I think it would have made it. A lot of my DEW drinking friends drank it as a change of pace. It tasted better to me than Vault does.

If they called it... 7up Lime... or something straight forward, and didn't make such a busy package I think it'd have done extremely well in the long run right along with 7up cherry... every store that did a sampling and got people to try it and recognize it on the shelf, did very well, but every store that didn't sample and do that... failed miserably... and I think very few stores got 2-day samplings at them so nobody ever got the chance to try it and recognize what it was and where it was...
