    Post BevNet Reviews - In General

    So there has been a lot of discussion on the board relating to what exactly BevNet considers when rating a beverage. Many feel that Coke, Pepsi, DPSU don't get a fair shake when it comes to reviews while lesser known brands seem to shine.

    Some people think that the reviews should be about taste alone. Okay, then you have to be open to the fact that there are probably many better sodas out there than those put forth by the big 3. Do you really think the reason they sell so well is because of taste alone? I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that Coke/Pepsi/DPSU spend millions of dollars each year to push their marketing messages? These messages reach billions of people via Tv, radio, newspapers, magazines, etc and are repeated time and time again. You know why? Repetition = memory = purchases. This is marketing 101...haven't you heard of the "Four P's?" Product, Price, Promotion, Placement...all four of these things contribute to a product's success or demise. BevNet is aware of this and considers all of those elements in their they should.

    Stop crying about your favorite soda getting a 2.5 star review on BevNet - does that stop YOU from buying/drinking it? Of course who cares what they think!?!?

    Dang, finally someone who can think logically about things

    Our reviews are our opinion. We can be right or wrong and it may or may not align with the drink's actual performance in the marketplace.
