Most soft drinks are not shipped in reefers. The only time I can remember having things shipped in reefers back in my warehouse days was when it was an owner/ operator who picked up an outsourced load from one of the allied brand stuff that isn't produced by a PBG facility. I do not know of anything as far as law for minimum and/or maximum temps on shipping of soda , except weight of truck cannot exceed 80000 lbs, and a full trailer is about there on cans. I do know that diet sodas start to freeze around 25 or so degrees F and all sodas will freeze at around 18 or so degrees F. The plastic bottled sodas will begin to explode in extreme heat as well I do not remember a range of temp on that though. It is somewhere in the range of 110+ degrees F.
